Jodi Benson (b. 1961) is an actor of stage and screen, known best for her role as Ariel in the Walt Disney animated film The Little Mermaid, a role she has reprised since in several TV series, films, and other media.
In 2022, Benson participated in the "Magic in the Air: 30 Years of The Muppet Christmas Carol" event at the D23 Expo, performing a live rendition of "When Love Is Gone." She was later photographed with the Muppet cast after the event. At the D23 Expo 2024, she sang "Never Before, Never Again" during "The Muppets 70: A Glamorous Miss Piggy Retrospective."
