Joe Baer served as assistant electrician on Sesame Street for several seasons. He made an on-camera appearance in Episode 1952 as Harris, a handyman who replaces the glass in the front door of Hooper's Store.
In addition to his work in television lighting, Baer has appeared as an actor in an episode of Kate & Allie (starring Susan Saint James and Jane Curtin) and the off-Broadway musical Frozen Roses.
