Joe Veno illustrated the 1976 Sesame Street coloring book Bert's Big Band Paint-with Water Book and the 1977 storybook The Count's Number Parade. He illustrated the Sesame Street Skills for Growing filmstrips "Ernie Learns to Skate" and "Going to the Beach."
He also worked on the 1979 Sesame Street Character Style Guide.
Outside of Sesame Street, his illustrations have been used by Milton Bradley, Hasbro, Parker Brothers, Golden Books, and others.
