Joel Collins is a production designer who began his career with Jim Henson's Creature Shop. He worked as a trainee on The Flintstones[1] and then moved on to The Neverending Story III (as a sculptor) and Muppet Treasure Island (as part of the miniatures unit). Collins later became production designer on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which used the Creature Shop for effects.
Collins served as production designer on the TV series Black Mirror, the miniseries Day of the Triffids (winning a BAFTA for his work), The Calcium Kid, and Son of Rambow.
