Jon Bon Jovi (b. 1962) is a rock star best known as the lead singer and co-songwriter for his group Bon Jovi. Their best known singles include "Runaway" and "Livin' on a Prayer."
On October 24, 1996, Bon Jovi attended the premiere of Elmo Saves Christmas where he posed for photographs with an Elmo walk-around.[1]
Bon Jovi was one of several musical celebrities who were interviewed for the 2000 VH-1 special The Greatest TV Moments: Sesame Street Music A-Z.
Bon Jovi began an acting career in the 1990s, with appearances in such films as Moonlight and Valentino (with Elizabeth Perkins), U-571 (with Matthew McConaughey), and Pay It Forward (with Kevin Spacey). He had a stint on Ally McBeal as Ally's boyfriend Victor Morrison, and guest parts on Sex and the City, Las Vegas, The West Wing, 30 Rock, and the Brazilian soap opera Malhação.

- The fifth season Muppet Babies episode "Scooter By Any Other Name" has Baby Scooter, as part of an identity crisis, briefly become "Jon Bon Scooti." Footage of Bon Jovi's music video for "Livin' on a Prayer" is intercut with shots of the babies in their equivalent band.
