Big Bird is excited to see Jonathan Livingston Seagull

Jonathan Livingston Seagull is a 1973 film based on the bestselling 1970 book of the same name. Designed as an allegory for what can be achieved through personal self-realization, the movie follows the titular bird as he tries to fly higher and faster and embarks on a transcendental journey. The film used live-action footage of seagulls, with dubbed voices, but was beset by multiple lawsuits including by the book's author Richard Bach and the movie's composer Neil Diamond.
