Jonathan Raskin performed as one of the Kids on Sesame Street from Season 18 to Season 21.
In Episode 2699, when Telly Monster tires of playing detective with Elmo, Jonathan becomes the new partner as Detective Jonathan, wearing a Sherlock Holmes-style costume. He was featured in two sight word sign language inserts with Linda, for the words "walk" (First: Episode 2572) and "open" (First: Episode 2579) and was one of the kids joining Billy Joel for "The Alphabet Song" (First: Episode 2562). One of his last appearances was in "The Crossing Zone" insert as little Jonathan Wilson needing help to cross the street (First: Episode 2729).
Outside of Sesame Street, Raskin appeared as infants or toddlers on the soap opera Search for Tomorrow (as Jonah McLeary) and the 1986 TV movie Rockabye as a kidnapped child, with a cast including Jason Alexander and Lynne Thigpen. He also briefly played another seldom seen soap opera child, Greg Lombard on As the World Turns around 1989.
