Jordin Sparks (b. 1989) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to fame in 2007 after winning the sixth season of American Idol. In addition to her platinum-certified records and Billboard top-ten singles, Sparks has appeared in roles on The Suite Life on Deck, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and RuPaul's Drag Race.
Sparks appeared in an episode of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo to perform her favorite childhood song - "The Itsy Bitsy Spider."
