José Jorge Duarte (b. 1963) is a Portuguese voice actor who dubbed Grover (Gualter) and Forgetful Jones for the first three seasons of Rua Sésamo, the Portuguese co-production of Sesame Street.
Duarte is the official Portuguese voice of Shrek and has also dubbed Homer on The Simpsons, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast, and Mr. Darling in Peter Pan. For the Harry Potter dubs, Duarte served as voice director and dubbed Gary Oldman and the Sorting Hat, while other live-action dubbing includes Timothy Dalton in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Alan Cumming in Son of the Mask, and Billy Connolly in Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties.
On-camera, Duarte hosted several Portuguese children's series/blocks as the character Lecas. He made appearances on soap operas and an episode of Maigret.
