Joseph Gordon-Levitt (b. 1981) is an actor known for his roles on 3rd Rock from the Sun and The Dark Knight Rises. He also voiced Jim Hawkins in Disney's animated film Treasure Planet, a sci-fi adaption of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Treasure Island.

Gordon-Levitt appeared in Sesame Street's 43rd season presenting "reinforce" as the Word of the Day. (First: Episode 4318).

In 2013, he appeared in Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular, singing with Lady Gaga and interacting in a brief segment with Kermit the Frog.

In 2015, he appeared in The Muppets episode "Going, Going, Gonzo."

As of March 2015, he is slated to star in the untitled Fraggle Rock film.

Other credits include 500 Days of Summer, Lincoln, and appearances in such television series as Murder, She Wrote, Roseanne, That '70s Show and Saturday Night Live.
