Big Bird looks for Ernie in the jungle. He first sees something striped peeking from a thicket of bamboo, thinking it's Ernie's sweater, but is actually a trunk warmer worn by an elephant. Big Bird then hears rubber duckie squeaks, which come from the bathtub of a tiger named Bernie, turning the bird's quest into a "Journey to Bernie." Finally, he sees a shadow cast on a boulder that resembles Ernie's tuft of hair, which turns out to be the frills of a sleeping iguana. Big Bird is clued in by Ernie's voice that he's closer than he thinks, and finds Ernie hiding behind the iguana.
