Big Bird looks for Ernie in a land that is filled with musical instruments, many of which play "Rubber Duckie." He encounters a musical note bouncing on a music staff, making a sound that he mistakes for Ernie's laugh, but turns out to be a pair of maracas. Next, a bass fiddle makes some familiar squeaks, but instead of Rubber Duckie, it's a clown's horn. Finally, Big Bird overhears Ernie singing, which at first appears to be just coming from a boombox, but is indeed Ernie talking into a microphone.
