Julia Kid is the host of the cooking series, "The Traveling Chef," as seen in Episode 2524 of Sesame Street. She is a spoof of celebrity chef Julia Child.
Julia's series tapes an episode from inside Hooper's Store, despite David's protests. Julia proceeds with her "recipe" for apples, namely the proper way of eating one. She eats one as an example, then devours David's entire bowl of apples.
She returns at the end of the episode, right after David has finished making his apple pie. She uses it in a demonstration of making "goodbye pie," which entails reciting the sponsors. She bids David, "Goodbye," before walking off with his apple pie.
