Julianna Margulies (b. 1966) is an Emmy Award-winning American actress most famous for her role as Carol Hathaway on ER. She plays Dr. Berger on Sesame Street in a 2010 episode, during the 40th season.

“Yes! Now that I have a kid, I watch it with him and I can't believe how many people are on it--Robert De Niro did "Sesame Street"! It was wonderful--just Big Bird and me. I was a doctor and fixed his wing. It took exactly an hour and I was home.[1]”

Other credits include guest spots on Scrubs and Law & Order, hosting Saturday Night Live, The Sopranos and the feature film Snakes on a Plane.
