June Carter Cash (1929-2003) was a musician and singer known for her role in the Carter Family folk troupe. She was married to country singer Johnny Cash.
She appeared alongside her husband in Episode 0558 of Sesame Street, serenading Oscar the Grouch with a brief performance of "If I Had a Hammer."
