Justine Korman, also known as Justine Fontes, is an author specializing in children's books. She co-wrote/edited the Muppet Babies book My First Muppet Dictionary (1988) and wrote the Sesame Street books Big Bird's New Nest (1990) and My Name Is Bert (1991).

Korman married comic book artist/illustrator Ron Fontes, who went on to illustrate several of her books (including adaptations of Kipling's "Just So Stories.") She wrote the Grumpy Bunny series and several Golden Books (including The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas, The Lion King, Bugs Bunny books, and 101 Dalmatians). She has written Snoopy books and adapted storybook versions of movies, including Babe, George of the Jungle, and Batman Returns, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

More recently, Korman has written the Cheddar's Tales books and a series of graphic novels for younger readers (illustrated by Ron Fontes).
