Kate Mara (b. 1983) is an American actress best known for playing Zoe Barnes in the Netflix series House of Cards and Shari Rothenberg in the Fox thriller series 24.
She made an appearance on Despierta América on July 31, 2015, to promote Fantastic Four (in which she plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), along with co-stars Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan. As part of the appearance, the Fantastic Four actors posed for pictures with Elmo and Rosita.
While promoting her film The Astronaut at SXSW in 2025, Mara, with her co-star Gabriel Luna and director Jess Varley, took a selfie with Elmo.
