Kaufman Astoria Studios, located in Astoria Queens, is where Sesame Street has been taped since 1992. The show is taped on Stage G. Not only do they tape the series at KAS, but they also tape all of their home videos from there as well. Sesame Street is contracted with them currently for season 38. KAS Music and Sound studio is also located here, which records all of audio needs for the show. Other shows, such as Law and Order, are also filmed here. The Cosby Show and Spin City also used the facilities.
