Kayla is Tamir's mother and Gabrielle's aunt on Sesame Street. A drawing of her was included on the community mural in Episode 5301, but she made her first physical appearance on the show in Episode 5314.
Kayla started the community garden first seen in Episode 5215. As seen in Episode 5329, she washes her niece Gabrielle's hair once a week on "Wash Day," a special tradition the two share.
