Jim's Red Book Easy Bake Oven Commercial

Kenner

In 1968, Jim Henson produced television commercials for the Kenner Products’ Easy Bake Oven featuring a Muppet version of the Kenner Toys mascot, the Kenner Gooney Bird (who eventually became Sesame Street’s Little Bird).

In these commercials, the Kenner Bird interacted with a human little girl (Barbara Price) and snacked on every sweet in sight. In one commercial, the bird pops out of one of the pies baked in the oven. The commercial ended with him flying towards a massive wall full of Kenner products, only to have the entire pile collapse, and saying the company slogan, "It's Kenner -- it's fun!"
