Keola appeared on Sesame Street during the Hawaii storyline in Season 9, beginning with Episode 1091. A friend of Buffy's, Keola is a singer and accomplished player of the nose flute. Around the campfire one night, he recounts the legend of Mount Ihu Papa'a Lo'ihi Nui, and thus unknowingly sets Big Bird and Snuffy on their quest for Mount Snuffleupagus.
