Self portrait.

Kevin Carlson is a puppeteer who performed puppets on Dinosaurs, Elmopalooza, and Muppets Tonight.

Outside of the Muppet realm, Carlson wrote and performed in the The Adventures Timmy the Tooth puppet series as well as the feature film Team America, the Men in Black series, and other TV shows and commercials.

He also created and performed a puppet character named Fuzz for a skit called "Leroy & Fuzz" for Nickelodeon's All That in the late 90s. The skit resembles the Saturday Night Live films of Mr. Bill that was on during the late 1970s. Even though it was popular with the kid audience, parents complained about poor Ol' Leroy torturing his fuzzy blue puppet pal with pain and cartoon violence. (One example is an episode where Leroy was acting like a doctor and giving Fuzz a check up. Instead of giving him a thermometer, he sticks a stack of four dynamite sticks in his mouth. Fuzz blows up with his fur fabric burned to shreds... He cries, "Is there a doctor in the house," and falls over.)

Carlson currently runs an online puppet greeting card site featuring original characters such as Captain Bucky, Bob, Eyegore (from Timmy the Tooth but with a different name) and more.

In 2006, Carlson performed a puppet character, "Edward R. Meow", in an episode of The Office. The puppet was a cast member in a TV show that Michael appeared in as a child.
