Kitty and Kermit

Kitty Carlisle (1910-2007) was an actress, singer, and activist. She is best remembered as a panelist on the game shows To Tell the Truth and What's My Line? (with Bennett Cerf). Among Carlisle's many credits are multiple roles on Broadway, while her films range from the romantic lead in A Night at the Opera (secondary to The Marx Brothers) to a featured cameo in Woody Allen's Radio Days. Carlisle made her debut with the The Metropolitan Opera in Die Fledermaus in 1966, and was prominent in New York City social circles.

Carlisle appeared with Kermit the Frog in a television advertisement promoting the arts in New York City in the mid 1980s.
