Kyle the Secretary Bird appeared in the season 3 episode "Mongoose & Secretary Bird" of The Animal Show in which he told the other guest Ernie the Mongoose about secretary birds and how they eat snakes. The two did get into an argument on which was the best snake eater until Jake the Polar Bear broke it up sending Kyle to sing a song.
His voice is an impression of Jimmy Durante. The puppet also appeared in the Mopatop's Shop episode "Horns", in which the puppet was a postal bird.
