"La Paloma" ("The Dove" or "The Pigeon") is a Spanish song in which the singer describes their encounter with the titular bird, asking the listener that if a dove were to fly to their window, they should treat it with affection.
Luis sang a version of the song in Episode 1459 of Sesame Street. A group of kids listen while one of them holds a live pigeon, and the tune inspires Big Bird to devise a way to help himself fly (though his idea of tying a bunch of pigeons together to carry him doesn't seem like a viable option).
