- The aria was sung by Dr. Julius Strangepork and a pig chorus in "Pigoletto" from episode 409 of The Muppet Show.
- Nanny hums the tune in the Muppet Babies episode "Sing a Song of Superheroes" when she heads to the TV room to watch her new "Greatest Moments in the History of Opera" video tape.
- Later in the same episode, Baby Gonzo and Baby Piggy sing the tune with lyrics about rowing around Venice in a boat.
- The song was used on Sesamstrasse in episode 2378, where it was sung by Quarks in several languages including Italian, dog, sheep, cow and cat.
- In Elmo's World: Singing, Mr. Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle makes various animal noises and gargles before lip-syncing the aria.
- Mr. Snuffleupagus sings the aria in a season 8 episode of Sesame Street. Afterwards, Big Bird asks Snuffy if he knows "Mary Had a Little Lamb".
