Labyrinth (graphic adaptation)

Labyrinth received a serialized graphic novel adaptation published by BOOM! Studios beginning in 2024. The project was announced not as an adaptation of the film (which had been done as a comic book in 1986), but specifically as the "first ever graphic adaptation" of the Labyrinth novelization written by A. C. H. Smith.^[1]

Originally planned as 160 pages across six issues, crowdfunding goals allowed the project to expand into 224 pages spread out over a total of eight issues.^[2] The novel's prose was adapted by Kyla Vanderklugt utilizing "scenes and moments not depicted in the final feature" with art by Giorgio Spalletta "visualizing elements of the story for the very first time."^[3]
