Larry Blyden and Big Bird on What's My Line?

Larry Blyden (1925-1975) was an actor and television personality, hosting multiple game shows including the syndicated What's My Line? while appearing as a panelist on others. In 1971, he was a panelist on To Tell the Truth when Caroll Spinney was the subject. While hosting What's My Line?, he reunited with Spinney (and this time Big Bird) and welcomed Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog.

Blyden was initially known for his stage work, appearing on Broadway in the original productions of Mister Roberts and The Flower Drum Song, as well as the 1972 revival of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (winning a Tony Award as Hysterium). TV acting credits, in addition to early New York-shot anthologies Playhouse 90 and Studio One, included The Twilight Zone. The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, and The Mod Squad.
