Lassie is a goat owned by Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street, first appearing in Episode 2971. As one of the many can-dwelling animals of Oscar's, Lassie's insatiable appetite is often on display, munching down on Maria's clothing (Episode 3067) or even a fake beard worn by Gina (Episode 4022). His appetite also impedes Oscar's GNN report in Episode 4160, where he'd rather eat his latest scoop from the dump than deliver it to anchor Oscar.
He also appears in the home video productions Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse and What's the Name of That Song?
Alternatively, Oscar is seen with another pet goat, Gus, in Episode 4207.
