Laura Dern (b. 1967) is an Academy Award-winning actress best known for her role of Dr. Ellie Sattler in the Jurassic Park movies.
Dern appeared with Kermit the Frog at the Environmental Media Awards on October 14, 1996.
In the 1980s, Dern was one of many actresses to audition for the role of Sarah in Labyrinth.[1]
Some of her other credits include guest spots on King of the Hill, The West Wing, Frasier, and lead roles in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Marriage Story (for which she won an Oscar).
