Lea Salonga and a duck

Lea Salonga (b. 1971) is a singer and actress born in the Philippines, best known for her Tony winning role in Miss Saigon on Broadway. She also went on to play Eponine in Les Misérables and Mei-Li in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Flower Drum Song.

Salonga sang "A Little Bit" to Alfred Duck, Big Bird and the Birdketeers in episode 3154 Sesame Street. She later joined the Sesame Street cast for their float in the 2024 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

At age nine, Salonga recorded a cover of "Rainbow Connection" which was released on two albums - Small Voice in 1981 and I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing in 1997.

Among Salonga's other credits are the singing voices of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan for Disney.
