"Leaf Pageant" is a Sesame Street song performed by Hoots the Owl and his Birdland house band in Episode 2491.
Performing on "The Big Bird Show," Hoots sings about how the trees change their looks with each passing season. The kids play the roles of the leaves that grow and fall, while Snuffy assists by blowing them off when Autumn arrives. The song ends segueing to a Sesame Street News Flash sketch.
While the song was initially written and designed as part of "The Big Bird Show", it would later be used as a stand-alone insert, removing part of Big Bird's original introduction.
