Leigh Hope Wood, sometimes credited as Leigh Wood, is an author and editor of children's books. As a writer and product development consultant for SoftPlay, she has written several cloth or felt Sesame Street books.
Wood's other books include Dora the Explorer titles and various plush and board books. She has also written "Illustrated Classics" adaptations of Dracula and Black Beauty and children's books on science and history topics (including Amelia Earhart).
