Lena is a pink, furry monster baby on Sesamstrasse. She lives with her mother Moni. Because of Moni's career, Lena is often left in the care of other Sesamstrasse residents. She enjoys playing in the sandbox.
Moni and Lena were added to the cast in 2005 as replacements for Tiffy, who was being sent back to Sesame Workshop for repairs. Tiffy never returned to the series, so Lena and Moni remained.
The puppet is an altered version of Sesame Street's Baby Natasha. The puppet was later used a Adrianna in the Furchester Hotel episode "The Baby Sitting Service".
Notes
- In 2011, that year's Eurovision Song Contest German representative, namesake Lena, appeared in a special Sesamstrasse music video.
