Les Muppets is the French dub of The Muppet Movie. It was originally released to theaters in France on October 3, 1979. The advertising campaign for the movie, using the subtitle Les Muppets: Ça, c'est du cinéma, included posters with take-offs of Star Wars, Superman, Jaws, James Bond, and the French film Et la tendresse?... Bordel!
The voice cast differed from the group used on Le Muppet Show. Later DVD releases added "Le Film" to the title.
