"Let's Sing a Song About Burr" is an original song performed by the Muppets and friends in the Television Academy Hall of Fame ceremony in 1986.
The Muppets (from The Muppet Show and Sesame Street) musically pay tribute to Burr Tillstrom, with specific characters getting solos - Fozzie Bear compares his jokes to Ollie's, Bert finds Tillstrom "Burr-illiant," Miss Piggy credits Madame Ooglepuss for her singing voice, and Statler and Waldorf are romantically interested in Buelah Witch, who Scooter calls a "tough cookie" (cueing an appearance by Cookie Monster). Kermit the Frog then segues to verses from Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, Buffalo Bob Smith and Howdy Doody, and Bil Baird and Charlemane the lion, before everyone joins in the big finale.
