Lil Nas X (born Montero Lamar Hill in 1999) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He came to fame with his country rap single "Old Town Road" in late 2018, and its remix with Billy Ray Cyrus, which remained number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for nineteen weeks, the longest for any song since the chart debuted in 1958.
He appears as a guest on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo in 2020, performing a new version of "Elmo's Song."
He also took part in the #Graduation2020 event set for May 15, 2020, to celebrate the graduating classes of 2020 which are unable to have traditional graduation ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2023, Lil Nas X made a cameo appearance in The Muppets Mayhem episode "Can You Picture That" stating that he grew up idolizing Dr. Teeth and bought a gold grill just to be like him.
