An animated version of Link Hogthrob appeared in the 1985 show Little Muppet Monsters. He appeared in cartoon "Pigs in Space" segments, the oblivious captain as always. In the first episode, "In the Beginning," Link creates a fuel crisis in the Swinetrek when he expends inordinate amounts of energy to power various luxury appliances and his electric teddy bear.
Link also appeared in "Eight Flags Over the Nursery," the final episode of Muppet Babies, in footage taken from the second aired episode of Little Muppet Monsters.
