Lishala is an Acquaran native and the daughter of Kato-Re. She appears in the Farscape episode "Jeremiah Crichton."
Rokon's mother Neera wants Rokon to marry Lishala so he can become the village's next chief. However, in Acquaran culture, females choose the males, and Lishala has fallen for John Crichton. Crichton doesn't feel the same way, though, and considers her to be more of a friend.
Lishala is upset and confused when Rokon acuses Crichton and D'Argo of attacking him. Crichton responds that it is due to her affection for him, which Lishala confirms by giving Crichton a kiss. She is also one of the few villagers who believes D'Argo poses no threat to their community.
When Rygel is thought to be the Masata, a god to the Acquaran people, Lishala explains to Crichton what this means for her and the Acquaran people, and although she is upset, accepts that she and Crichton are not fated to be together.
At the end of the episode, Lishala asks Crichton to stay and help rebuild the village. Crichton declines, and Rokon promises to take care of Lishala.
