Little Boy Blue's Mother is the mother of Little Boy Blue, the titular character of the Mother Goose Stories episode "Boy Blue".
Little Boy Blue's Mother is very poor, living in the country with her son and surviving off the small bits of grain left in the field after the harvest. She often objected to her son going out to get a job because her son was so young, but one day Little Boy Blue insisted and went to see the Squire.
Little Boy Blue's mother becomes ill, and is tended by her faithful son all through the night. Though he falls asleep on the job as a result, Boy Blue's filial piety is ultimately rewarded. The Squire provides mother and son with new lodgings in a cottage near the hall.
