Little Neighbors

Little Neighbors: Building a Better World Together is a program of Sesame Street in Communities, sponsored by PSEG Foundation. The project focuses on safety, the environment, compassion, volunteerism, continuous self-improvement, and being a good neighbor.

Little Neighbors Launch

Streamed on August 11, 2021, the program was hosted by Alan (Alan Muraoka) and Elmo (Ryan Dillon).

Alan and Elmo begin by singing "Sing After Me". PSEO Chairman, President, and CEO Ralph Izzo delivers a speech. A clip from the initiative is shown, with Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, and Slimey, where Slimey puts on safety equipment before skateboarding. He then talks to Jeanette Betancourt about more ways to be a good neighbor. Another segment shows Slimey helping work in the garden. Oscar is unaware that Slimey is helping, until Abby notes. Alan and Elmo say goodbye.
