While traditionally inanimate objects, occasionally toys have come to life or been personified as living creatures in Muppet productions. The most notably example is the characters in Jim Henson's The Christmas Toy and The Secret Life of Toys. Other examples include Bootsie and Brad on The Jim Henson Hour, the plush dinosaur Dog in Living with Dinosaurs, and the self-aware ventriloquist dummy Gary Cahuenga on Muppets Tonight.
