Loaf of Bread was a guest of honor on one of Sesame Street's "Here Is Your Life" segments, hosted by Guy Smiley.
Loaf was reunited with Carol the Baker (who made her), Farmer Frankie (his wheat was one of her ingredients), Cora Cow (her milk was another ingredient), and Betty and Melissa Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and Yvette and Danielle French Toast, who were made from one of Loaf's friends at the bakery.
Years after this segment, a new loaf of bread puppet was built. It appeared in a Season 10 sketch where it and other foods in a refrigerator cooperate to make a sandwich. Two such appearances for this puppet was as Cookie Monster's background singer (one of the Fly Girls) for the song "Healthy Food", and in "Telly's Lunch."
The Loaf of Bread later appeared in Episode 4303 alongside Muppetized versions of a Container of Milk and a Stick of Butter (inspired from the classic Sesame Street insert), as new friends of Eric Stonestreet's, in a sketch showcasing the word of the day: "remember."
The Loaf of Bread was released as an accessory with the Guy Smiley ReAction figure in 2024.
