The Los Angeles Dodgers are a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1883, the team originally played in Brooklyn, New York, before relocating to Los Angeles prior to the start of the 1958 season. Notable former players include Jackie Robinson and Steve Garvey.
In 2003, the Dodgers created a pair of bobblehead dolls depicting Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy in team uniforms.
Matt Kemp appeared on season 43 of Sesame Street, wearing a Dodgers jersey in a Word of the Day segment for the word "attach."
On August 2, 2019, Count von Count wore a Dodgers jersey during a Sesame Street Day event at Dodger Stadium, the team's home ballpark.
