In 2008, Cuatro Media Inc. published a series of Plaza Sésamo board books entitled Los oficios de Elmo. Each of these board books features Elmo trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up. The fifteen board book titles under the series are: Músico, Arquitecto, Maestro, Doctor, Jardinero, Arqueólogo, Escritor, Bombero, Plomero, Cocinero, Atleta, Marinero, Veterinario, Fotógrafo and Astronauta.
