"Lost Toy Opera" is an opera composed and performed by Placido Flamingo in episode 2496 of Sesame Street. The song is performed to the tune of "In Lauterbach hab' ich mein' Strumpf verlor'n" (more commonly known as "Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?").

Big Bird can't seem to find his favorite toy anywhere in his nest. Placido appears and offers his musical services. Big Bird's plight mirrors an opera he's just written and he sings about his methods of finding his toy. He searches all over the street, eventually jogging Big Bird's memory that he left his toy with Snuffy.
