Lou Diamond Phillips (b. 1962) is an actor who has appeared in movies such as La Bamba, Stand and Deliver and Young Guns.
He appeared on Sesame Street in a segment where he teaches Snuffy how to write his name, and gives Gina a Snuffleupagus-sized autograph (First: Episode 2661). In another segment (First: Episode 2709), Big Bird lets him sleep in his nest. He also appears in the celebrity version of "Monster in the Mirror".
Phillips appeared in the Broadway-revival of The King and I, with Alan Muraoka and Jenna Ushkowitz.
