"Love Shack" is a song originally recorded by The B-52s for their album Cosmic Thing, becoming their biggest hit single.
Gonzo, Rizzo and Pepe the King Prawn perform the song at karaoke night at Rowlf's Tavern in The Muppets episode, "Pig Out." The song was used in a Muppet performer workshop in 1993 led by Steve Whitmire and Kevin Clash.[1]

- An instrumental pastiche of the song is heard in the Sesame Street web video "Sesame Street Presents the 80s," heard from inside Cookie Monster's tummy, indicating Grover's digested cell phone has been set to his 1980s playlist.
