"Love the Ocean" is a Sesame Street song sung by Frankie Monster, Annette Monster and other monsters.
The monsters are enjoying a day at the beach when Frankie informs his friends about a problem in the ocean. A fish swims by, covered in litter and bummed out that people have been polluting the ocean with trash. Frankie and Annette decide to sing the song to urge others (including a fellow monster beachgoer) to "show respect for the sea" and refrain from throwing trash in the water.
The song is in the style of 1960s surf music, specifically borrowing elements from The Beach Boys' "Surfin' USA" and "Fun, Fun, Fun."
