Lucas Ross is an actor, comedian, musician, and part of the on-air team of KFOR-TV in Oklahoma.
In his role as Community Outreach and Promotions Coordinator for the American Banjo Museum, Ross appeared alongside Kermit the Frog for a specially-recorded video for the museum's "Banjo Roots" educational outreach program in 2019.
Ross has also collaborated with the Muppets Studio to provide Kermit's banjo playing for various projects, such as the 2020 web video of "Rainbow Connection,"[1] Schoolhouse Rock! 50th Anniversary Singalong,[2] and the 2023 Oris wristwatch commercial featuring Kermit (playing a song written by Ross himself).[3] He also performed Kermit's live banjo playing for his appearance at the 2024 Luck Reunion concert.
Ross performed a cover of "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" for his 2019 album Banjos in Space, and "Rainbow Connection" on his 2022 album There Will Be Banjo: Lucas Ross Live at the Oklahoma Opry.
